The Comfort fly rug offers maximum protection against insects and is therefore ideal for horses with very sensitive skin. The Comfort fastening ensures that there is no pressure, making the rug particularly comfortable when grazing. A detachable neck piece is included for extra comfort and protection.
Fabrics and materials
The rug is made from a tightly woven mesh fabric that repels most insects. The mesh is extremely durable and will accompany your horse for many summers. The inside is smooth and soft so that no hair sticks to the rug. Thanks to the light colour, the rug reflects the sun's rays and does not absorb heat. The fine mesh fabric remains breathable. The mane, chest and tail are lined with a smooth polyester to prevent chafing.
Shape & size
The Comfort fly rug is anatomically shaped so that it stays in position even after rolling around. The rug is fastened at the front with the Comfort fastener, which is easy to attach and prevents pressure points. To protect the belly, the rug has a belly flap that is fastened with Velcro and three straight belly straps. The belly flap lies close to the horse's belly to prevent insects from entering from the side. The tail cover is slightly longer than usual and has an elasticated insert to keep the tail close to the rug and provide additional protection. The detachable neck piece is reinforced with a stronger webbing that prevents it from slipping down and reduces pressure on the mane.
Care instructions
The fly rug can be machine washed at 30 degrees. Then leave to air dry. We do not recommend using a tumble dryer.
